Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot nearby my home after several days of snow.

Time

I went out after work one evening in March, to catch the snow on the trees.

Lighting

In Sweden we dont have many hours of daylight in the winter so I had to go for a long exposure.

Equipment

I used a Canon 1300D and the kit lens 75-300 on a tripod. F/11, ISO 100, 8s

Inspiration

I love snowy landscapes! How the snow cover nature in softness.

Editing

I only lightened it up a bit in Snapseed.

In my camera bag

I'm still just a beginner so I go with my Canon 1300D, but I have upgraded my lenses with a 40mm, 70-300mm and just recently with a 35mm which I am eager to use in spring and summer with all the blossom beauty.

Feedback

My tip to get THE shot is to get out there with the camera! Take every opportunity to shoot. Early morning to catch the sunrise or late night to shoot car trails or the milky way. Just go out!
