Location
The image was taken at a photo studio owned by David Birdsong in Pontiac, Michigan.Time
The shoot occurred about 1:00 p.m. Sun was perfect coming in the windows and gave many nice shadows etc.Lighting
This image was taken using natural light and a ring Light flash unit.Equipment
I used my Canon 5D Mark111 camera (hand held), canon L lens and the ring light flash unit.Inspiration
I had an idea about taking Kirstin's picture with a ring light flash unit. This was done to extenuate her amazing blue eyes. She is a beautiful model and I wanted to capture a great portrait of her.Editing
This image was good right out of the camera but I brought it in to Lightroom and did a few minor adjustments such as a bit of light skin smoothing. In my camera bag
I carry my Canon 5D Mark111, and three lenses to most of my photo shoot. My lenses include a Canon L lens 70 to 200 F4, a Canon L Lens 100 macro at F 2.8. Also I carry a Canon 50 prime at F 1.4. I always carry extra batteries and about 5 SD memory cards Alien Bee triggers and extra batteries. My back up camera which I carry in another bag has a Canon 7D with several lens.Feedback
