Location
I took this photo on my way to work just outside of Trout Creek, MT.Time
It was in the Fall- probably around 7:15 am.Lighting
We'd had our share of wildfires that year, so there was a good amount of smoke in the air. That always makes for the most spectacular sunsets and sunrises.Equipment
I use an old Canon T3 DSLR- wide-angle lens that came with the camera- no flash, no tripod.Inspiration
I'd been watching the sun start to peek over the mountains, and I realized this was going to be a spectacular sunrise. When I got to an opening alongside the river, I just pulled over to the side of the road, got out and snapped the photo. It was so incredibly beautiful, I couldn't let the moment pass.Editing
I, often, use the sharpening tool in Adobe, but other than that, I did not do an post-processing.In my camera bag
I carry very little in my camera bag. My normal wide angle lens, and a Macro lens- along with some sunscreen and chapstick! ;)Feedback
I live in NW Montana. People ask me about my photos, and the honest answer is that this country is so incredibly beautiful and unspoiled, that gorgeous photos are a dime a dozen. Everywhere you look, there's an incredible photo waiting to be taken... just make sure you are looking.
