Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken after a short night in the "Dreizinnenhütte" when the crispy light was hitting the mountains for the first time that day.

Time

It was a summermorning round about 06:50am

Lighting

I wanted to have an impressive view of the Paternkofel with his strong forms, builed by earth eruptions - so why not double it up in the lake lagi dei phiani

Equipment

Nikon D800, 16-35mm 1:4G ED, Nisi Filter NDG and CPL Filter

Inspiration

The massive stone formations builded from earth eruptions ages ago - but nature is timeless

Editing

My workflow was pretty simple as the light conditions have been perfect. So cleaning, contrasts and a bit of colour settings

In my camera bag

Nikon D800 and prime lenses from 16 to 200 mm and an 85mm 1:1.8
