I shot this photo at Yishun Pond, a magnificent nature park with herons, monitor lizards, birdlife and butterflies. Yishun Pond is also inside Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Though this butterfly's wings are torn and tattered, I took its photo becauae it has an amazing will to live and was busy feeding on the Spanish Needle flowers in the afternoon at 12 pm. This butterfly is thus worthy of our admiration because of his strong, determined will to survive and thrive in any situation with strong love for life.
