Location
I decided to take a visit to the wetlands in Viera before closing and captured this sunset. I'm a self-taught amateur and try to practice my passion as often as I can.Time
I always keep a tripod in the trunk so I was in luck especially since I have a tremor in my left hand. It was a gorgeous night an hour before sunset.Lighting
I wanted to accentuate the rays of light that I was seeing so I played around with the shutter speed to obtain what I was visualizing.Equipment
This shot was taken with a Sony SLT-A55V using a 16-55 mm lens and a Manfrotto tripod.Inspiration
I was walking along a long bank of grass when I came across a gap in the in the height and saw this picturesque opportunity.Editing
In this photo, I only had to slightly increase the exposure. In my camera bag
I always pack my 16-55 mm 2.8 Sony lens with my A55 because it's so versatile. I also bring my 18-250 mm 5.6 lens for those longer shots. I also make sure I have an extra battery, memory chip and lens cleaning paper . I also pack a remote commander and extra battery for it, for those long exposure shots.Feedback
I am an amateur and have just read things online and tried them. So I'm in no position to give anyone advice on photography. I would just say practice makes perfect, so go out and shoot.
