This photo was taken one my 2nd trip to Thailand, through this trip we visited the Ancient Siam Miniature Park it was incredible to step back in time and walk through this place.Time
This photo was taken just after 12pm on a march day, the sun was quiet high in the sky and did not leave much of shadows on the ground. As I walked around I noticed the shadow of a tree in the middle of the old walls.Lighting
With the sun being high in the sky it was hard to get good contrasts so finding the shadow of this tree, I walked around it to see with there was anything interesting under the cast of this shadow.Equipment
I only had with me my Canon 5dmkii with a canon 24-70 f2.8 lens. I also had my battery grip with me due to having big days out on day tripsInspiration
As I was walked around I came across this window through the old bricks and the look of this old vine slowly growing up the wall attaching itself to the tree above that is giving itself shade, this made me stop and make my photo decision quiet easy.Editing
Because of being able to travel to this place once it was hard to pick the "prime time" to shoot so a little post-processing was done, I added a little contrast and added a little shine the vine in the back ground, I think it gives it a nice definition and highlight of the photo. In my camera bag
I have my only camera Canon 5dmkii and if I'm just having a day walking around the city I cary my Canon 11-24 f4 lens and Canon 70-200 f2.8 lens. Any other adventure I take my 24-70 f2.8 lens and 50mm f1.8Feedback
The biggest thing I think of is even tho your out taking photos take time to not just be looking through the viewfinder but looking around at your soundings see if there is a different view of your subject, it can be surprising how a different view can give a different feel to a photo.
