Location

This photo was taken from a strangers garden somewhere in Portland, Oregon.

Time

Early afternoon

Lighting

The sun was hidden behind the home so the lighting was perfect for this shot!

Equipment

For this photo I only had my camera phone iPhone 6s handy since I was working.

Inspiration

How could I not?! The colors were so vibrant and it was as though the flower looked up at me asking for a glamour shot.

Editing

Absolutely no editing done on this beauty

In my camera bag

I normally just use my camera phone but I did recently acquire a Nikon D7000 to my collection.

Feedback

If something grabs you, take the shot! For flowers I like to focus on the one that really catches my eye and let the background fall to the wayside
