Location
this image was taken on a short walk to summer hill force in the picnic area of Bowlees Middleton in TeasdaleTime
this was taken around mid afternoon early autumnLighting
the image is straight out of camera I used a long exposure to capture the water in this wayEquipment
taken on canon 5dmkii with canon17-40mm lens King joy tripod and cable releaseInspiration
I absolutely love shooting waterfalls I think it is the peaceful force of the water tumbling over the rock formation that makes for a relaxing sceneEditing
this image was straight out of cameraIn my camera bag
I normally carry 2 canon bodies 5d mkii and canon 50d also I carry canon 70-300mm lens, cqnon 17-40mm lens, canon 28-80mm lens and a set of mixed filters from ND Grads to 10 stop filter, tripodFeedback
I always shoot in raw and fully manual depending on light normally 1 to 2 second exposure would capture this sort of image you could risk blurring the water more if you use a longer exposure I always try to use aperture F14 camera must be on a tripod and use a cable release or 2 second timer to rule out camera shake
