Getting a light painting shot that was clean and not random in its composition.Editing
Boosted the blacks in Lightroom to get nice contrast with the lights & background. Increased the color a little and burned the subject's silhouette. In my camera bag

Being persistent & patient enough to see that your first attempted could be improved. You never know what you get when you shoot the same light painting shot a dozen or more times. Took that many at least for me to get the composition, reflections, timing of the spin with shutter speed & the silhouette perfect in this photo. All of those photo elements can make or break the composition, play with them first few times you go out to experiment with shooting light painting. You with learn a lot more then just what shapes look cool.
