This picture was take on our family farm in Alberta, Canada, using the farm truck! My daughter is the typical farm girl, she usually wares camo and boots and is very tom boyish. So to have her all dressed up and looking like a "girl"was a treat! This picture is "HER".Time
This picture was taken in the middle of June in the afternoon.Lighting
It was hard to get a good picture of her reflection in the mirror..and that is what this picture is all about...the unique reflection. It was also hard to get the right position of the camera because the truck was in the way. With patience and movement of the camera I finally it it.Equipment
My Canon Rebel Camera leaning on the truck for support. 0.25m/0.8ft lens. (EF-S 18-55mm)Inspiration
It was my daughters Grade Nine Farewell on this day. She was all dressed up and looking like a "girl"! She usually wares camo and boots! Even though she was all dressed up...a pretty dress can't take the country out of the girl...it was her idea to take this picture. She wanted one with the old farm truck. I wanted one that was unique...and this is what came out of it.Editing
I hardly did anything to this picture...but brighten it up a bit...In my camera bag
I always have my Canon Rebel on hand! At this time I only have 2 lens. Hope to buy more in the future...this site is so inspiring!! At the moment I have a EF-S 18-55mm Canon lens (this picture was taken with this lens). My second lens is a Canon zoom lens EF-S 55-250MM.Feedback
I love taking pictures and take ones that inspire me from the heart. I always go with my heart and passion for Photographery and take pictures that appeal to me. In the end...I hope that these pictures will also appeal to others in the same way!
