Thank you. It was through a series of adjustments. But mostly HDR and lens blur.

Location
I took the photo right from my porch in Maine. It seems to be a great example of not needing to go far for a good photo.Time
i believe this was mid morning. it was part of a small project i had in mind and I believe that i was taking the shots around 8 am. each day.Lighting
nothing too special to share about lighting. being a part of a project over a number of days I tried to just take the shots I wanted with similar lighting each day but only using natural light.Equipment
this was shot with my cell phone no flashInspiration
at the time I was mostly taking open landscape photos and many people were enjoying them so I just wanted to expand from that a little bit. These sunflowers were about to open so I wanted to get progression shots throughout the process, thinking the prints would be great hanging on a wall in order of the flower growing and opening up.Editing
I used snapseed for this as it was taken with my cell phone. once i got the photo looking how i wanted it, I added the HDR effect. very simple. In my camera bag
a sony a5100, a canon powershot and a couple of gopros. its very simple geat and affordable for a beginner like myself.Feedback
I think that its a pretty simple photo that was captured well. I believe the editing made it pop and made it more appealing visually. there is nothing too technical about this, so Its a perfect shot to advise people to just take that photo when see it. as far as an art form goes you dont need anything special as far as equipment just a creative mind and something to capture the picture you are seeing. you can always make adjustments to the photo but you cant always go back and get the same one so take it when you see it.
