Thanks to every one for your vote, I'm really proud of this photo, I actually photograph 5 burgers about 150 times until I got the right shot for my client, so it is hard work, best thing I got to eat one LOL, I know there are a lot of you out there that can do better show your work I want to see your stuff :)

Location
This photo was taken in Tegucigalpa. Honduras in location (restaurant)Time
Around 4:30 pm or soLighting
All natural light, just used a aluminum piece foil at the dark side so the shadow was no to hardEquipment
I used a small camera, my Nikon D60 with a 15-55 lensesInspiration
I actually photograph a whole entire menu for the restaurant, the chef and I got the best ingredients, we knew we have to create a product the makes people hungry, we had a new burger every moth, and the campaign and the photograph were a total successEditing
The post-processing was mostly for the background because it has to be for a print ad, a couple of retouches on the beef, but the real work was in the food styling the Chef and I put a lot of effort making it look good before the picture was taken. In my camera bag
My prime camera is a Nikon 7100 DX with a 15-55 and a 55-300 lenses, also a Nikon D60 with a 55 mm and a 70-200 a good set of strobe lights with 900w, 2 soft boxes, umbrellas, an reflectors, batteries, batteries, batteries.Feedback
The secret to photograph food, I think is like anything else.....prepare well, use the best ingredients, in this particular case we made 5 burgers every single time the next one was better than the one before until we nailed it, we were very patient, no rush just do it right, used a lot back natural light, a side 75-100 light to balance the shadows, begin at a far distant and move it closer until you get it right, personally I don't like to used any flash for the food.
