i am blown away to rec 100 peer awards, i bin waiting 5 years for 1 of my photos to hit a hundred, so thank u all. also very happy it is a finalist.

Behind The Lens

Location

the photo was taken in my apartment, in the bathroom, i got her to stand in the bathtub in front of the blue tile. the room had a east facing window.

Time

the time was around 2 pm, a nice light coming in from the window.

Lighting

i used the light coming in from the east window, a white wall to her left acted as a fill.

Equipment

a nikkormat camera with a nikon 50 mil lens. hand held. and fuji colour film.

Inspiration

she was my friends daughter, i new her from day on. it was her birthday and i bought her that sweater, i told he if she let me take a pic of her i would buy her a ice cream, she lasted about 5 shots and the went into a pout. i took one shot before she bailed.

Editing

no post processing.

In my camera bag

today i have a canon t2i, and a canon 15 to 85 lens.

Feedback

i only use natural light, and when working with children patience and willing to be a clown
