Behind The Lens
Location
I took this in front of an old Methodist Church in a little town 3 miles from my home.Time
This was taken around 7pm with the sun behind the church.Lighting
I just waited until the sun was soft.Equipment
I used a Nikon D7100. An 80-120mm lens, no flash just natural light.Inspiration
I have loved this old church for awhile and have taken many pics there before but not a bride. But when she wanted her pics taken there on a windy day I saw the potential of something really good!!!Editing
I shoot in the raw so I had to remove the some things from near the bride plus the sky was blown out that day so I edited the sky and added a sunburst. The church has stained glass but is kinda dull. I added a tiny bit of color but mainly dodged and burned to bring out the color there as well as in the stone. In my camera bag
I just carry one other camera which is a Nikon D80 with a 50mm lens that I have had a long time but it still does great.Feedback
I don't know that I have advice other than looking for unusual spots that can be edited to look very grandeur. I love architect and this building has such character to it. Plus I prayed before I took the pic for God to help with what I wanted to look spectacular!!
