This photo was taken in a field close to my house... It's an open plot of land that people use to walk their dogs and ride their horsesTime
I think it was somewhere around 2 or 3Lighting
I was using my profoto b1 for this shot... They are amazing pieces of equipment.. I love the fact that they are so portable.Equipment
I was using my canon 6D at the time... And I think this was with my 50mm sigma art prime... My B1 with the air remote to trigger.Inspiration
This was for a local designer... I was just starting out and I wrote to a whole bunch of designers asking to do a trade - my photos for the use of their clothing line to shoot.. Lunar was the only company to get back to me... And we had such a fantastic day.. I landed up shooting their entire line...Editing
Not much - I shoot in RAW so I had to do the usual contrast, saturation, and levels but other than that nope...In my camera bag
My entire bag was recently stolen... I was using a canon 6D, a 50mm sigma art, a 35mm 1.4, a 70-200mm 2.4, a 15mm fisheye 2,8, 24-70mm 2,8... A yongnu 560iiiex speed light and I profoto B1Feedback
I think this kind of shot had a lot to do with how comfortable your model is with you... This was one of the last outfits for the day so by this time the model was more than comfortable with me... It also had to do with your team... I had a great team that day.. Courtney Chadwick makeup was the MUA on the shoot and she is always fantastic... And last but not least- the lighting... By this stage in the afternoon the light was gorgeous- and I think it's all about knowing your gear and understanding light... My advice to new photographers would be don't worry and all the details so much - just shoot, shoot, shoot... Pick up your camera whenever you can.. I honestly believe that's how you become a better photographer
