Location
The photograph was taken at Al Ain Oasis, United Arab Emirates which a is a very scenic and an interesting place to visit especially if you are a desert green lover.Time
The time at which the shot was clicked was around 13:20 post Summer.Lighting
As the shot was composed in the afternoon with the bright, blistering sun shining, the lighting was quite straightforward with plenty of light to play with, thus creating the sharp, unique angle. and shallow depth of field.Equipment
The equipment was quite simple and facile i.e. a Fujifilm Finepix S8500 bridge cam and an SD card (class 4 - Lexar).Inspiration
To be frank, I am simple crazy about taking bizarre macro shots and I try to be inventive while doing so. I always try and create uncommon angles while composing my shots. So I guess, it's the macro craze that inspired me to click such a shot.Editing
I personally believe that a photograph (of any genre) when post-processed loses its orginality and value, provided quite a few photography contests even discourage post-processing. The real value of a photograph lies in the inventiveness of the photographer and not in his/her ability to edit photographs. With some decent level of editing, even an average level photograph could look great, which is why I always discourage the idea of post-processing photographs. (Kindly note that this is just my personal opinion and may not necessarily be correct or satisfyingly accepted by everyone)In my camera bag
My equipment is pretty much simple i.e. a Fujifilm Finepix S8500 2SD cards (Sandisk - Class 2; Lexar - Class 4) I still consider myself to be a learning amateur photographic enthusiast and look forward to keep continuing it as my passion.Feedback
To be a good macro photographer, a photographer should learn to devise different angles, be light-specfic as smaller/closer objects may not be the easiest to capture unless a photographer makes smart and efficient use of available light (or create in some cases) and most importantly a photographer should learn to be patient at all times.
