I believe this is most unusual photo, really difficult to compose a picture, with three subjects in it.

Location
This photo was taken in Long Beach, Mississippi. The view is looking over the Gulf of Mexico towards New Orleans.Time
It was about 11pm on a very warm night. I was shooting from a tripod long exposure and this was my very first attempt at capturing lightning.Lighting
I was shooting in AV mode.Equipment
This was using my Canon T3i with the standard kit lens. I was using a tripod and shooting long exposure using a cable shutter release.Inspiration
I hadn't had my camera long and I've always wanted to capture lightning. This was my very first attempt.Editing
This shot has no post processing....however I did post process this same image using Photomatix for depth but this is the original straight from the camera. In my camera bag
I have a Canon T3i kit. I have just the standard lens and a 300 lens that has no image stabilization and I seldom use it.Feedback
Trial and error. I shoot in AV or manual mode and tried many variations.
