Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at South Haven High School in South Haven, Michigan.

Time

This photoshoot was during evening golden hour

Lighting

I had my godox speed light with me but I only used it for the shots in the gym and when we went outside I just used all natural light.

Equipment

This particular photo was shot with my Sigma 85mm DGDN Art lens on my Sony A7 IV.

Inspiration

The model was really feeling the photoshoot and getting excited from each image I showed him.

Editing

I just made some simple tweaks in Lightroom. That happens to be the case with most of my images. I’ll occasionally use photoshop but it’s rare.

In my camera bag

Currently, my bag consists of two bodies and three prime lenses. My main body is a Sony A7 IV and my backup body is a Sony A7 ii. The three lenses I carry are a Sigma 85mm F1.4, Sigma 35mm F1.4, and the latest addition to the bag is a Sony 20mm F1.8 G.
