Location
I took this photograph of the nestled and hungry baby Blue Jays in the eaves on the backside of our barn.Time
In the early evening as I went to check on my garden, I heard the chirps of these preciously ugly little babies and captured the shot of a lifetime as they awaited their next feast.Lighting
As a personal preference I usually only photograph with natural outdoor lighting. This intricate nest filled with hungry babies is perfectly built in the shade of our barns overhang. Protecting their featherless bodies from the harsh sunrays.Equipment
Time being of the essence when both parents were away, I grabbed my little old iPhone and "Carpe Diem"!Inspiration
I love every aspect of nature! Capturing these tiny flightless birds in my own yard was not a question! It was necessary!Editing
The only post processing I did on the "Hungry Baby Blues", was a little dehazing. In my camera bag
As a general rule of thumb I always carry extra batteries, a charger, lens wipes, various lenses and filters.Feedback
