Stunning. Somewhere I have a very old black and white of this in my stepfather's belongings. He was stationed in the area during WW2.

Location
The Taj Mahal sets on the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agrs. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself.Time

The equipment used was Nikon D700 Cameras along with just about every Nikon lens there is. For this Image I used the AF18-200 Lens and it was taken looking over the reflecting pool @ f22.Inspiration
I flew to India in early 2020 to only create images of the Taj Mahal. I spent 3 days there and flew Home. I travel many days a year to photograph. This was one of the trips I had wanted to take for a long time.Editing

Some advice arrive early there will be fewer people. The sun rises on the right. Plan on spending at least two days at the Taj Mahal that is what I spent and it was just the right amount of time. There are a lot of unique architectural aspects you will want to photograph. And pay for the professional fee it will get you places that without it you can't go. It will also get your equipment in. You may also want to hire a local guide. The Taj Mahal and everything around it is much bigger than you might think.
