Behind The Lens

Location

Living in a small rural village in Dorset England, certainly has its benefits. On one of our many walks around the village, we sat in a field admiring the view, where a friend's dairy herd were grazing. Slowly one by one the cows approached us to investigate. It wasn't long till we were totally surrounded by the herd.

Time

On this particular day, we went out for our morning walk later than usual. It had gone past 11am when we reached this particular field.

Lighting

Being winter, the sun was still low but nice and bright. I moved so I could get the light behind me and over my left shoulder, but ensuring not to cast a shadow.

Equipment

I had just purchased a new phone, a Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite. Which has an amazing wide angle lens. So I was experimenting with all sorts of subjects.

Inspiration

Just being adventurous, and letting the cows approach us.

Editing

No post processing was required for this image.

In my camera bag

I am a Nikon fan, but when going on long family walks, the camera's are left at home.
