the photo was taken near Castel sant'angelo in Rome-Italy, i am a self taught photographer and i have been always fascinated by the beauty and artistic history of Rome which encouraged me more and more and try and capture the most of it's delightful nobility and originality.Time
this is one my favourite images i have taken, because it reminds me of a funny story where my best-friend and I skipped university to go eat ice cream in the old centre of Rome, and it was around 9 o'clock in a cold December morning. after i took the picture it started raining and we started running to hide.Lighting
the lighting was all natural where even if you look at the photo you would feel as if it was a painting coming to be alive, I tried to minimize and decrease the brightness as much as possible to get the reflections on the water and the colour of the sky.Equipment
surprisingly this photo was taken by an iphone 6, the ISO: 32, focal length: 83/20, Exposure: 1/850, aperture: f/2.2. as simple as possible still magical.Inspiration
i was inspired by the beauty of the natural ancient scene where although we were in 2019 but it felt as it was in the 18th or 19th century. the colours of the buildings, the bridge, the water and the sky are all balancing each other not to forget the dreamy magical touch of the clouds that look like cotton candy.Editing
what i did was using the lightroom app i enhanced the luminosity of the colour blue, in order to show it more and i increased the saturation a bit of the image as a whole. but nothing more because the photo was already great. In my camera bag
i don't own a professional camera although one day i would love to, and i know alot about cameras and lenses. i am obsessed but, i always use my phone (iphone 6 before) and now iphone 11 pro. i try my best to get the best out of the capture in the simplest way possible.Feedback
you need to wait for the right lighting and your life would be easier, sunsets are the perfect time for photos but you must be quick and never forget to enhance the saturation to get out the most of the wild vibes of the colours in your photos.
