In my studio in Patna, Bihar, India. I've a small studio naming " Orion production media " I teach students photography and shoot portfolios as well.Time
It was Taken during Janamasthmi in the month of OCTOBER 2019. and both of the models helped me a lot. it took us three hours to paint the model, stage, and lights. It almost took most of our days so we shot this during the night.Lighting
This is a one-point light setup, but I needed two different lights so, I asked my students to move the lights as fast as he can from up to down and I kept the shutter little less so my camera can capture the lights perfectly.Equipment
My camera is Sony-A68 it's a crop sensor SLT camera. No tripod and Simpex flash and white background.Inspiration
The Janmashtami festival is about "Lord Krishna, he was the 8th son of Devki" in this photo I've tried to show that even after their death. They are always together. As during that time Krishna was not able to marry his lover "Radha" due to being dusky in color.Editing
Yes, I retouched the jewelry and the dress. And removed some blemishes of the model. As they are not professional they are my neighbors, and as this was a concept work. I asked them for a favor. In my camera bag
Camera "Sony A-68"Feedback
Set-up the light carefully. As light is the only thing that sets up the mood for this kind of image. And try using organic body paint not many people are use to synthetic coloring.
