Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Katmai Park in Alaska We went with a small Group wading down the river and found these grizzlies playing

Time

It was in the morning, it was overcast

Lighting

Lighting was not great, it was overcast and somewhat dark

Equipment

I used a Nikon D850 with a 200-500mm lens at 500mm, f5.6, 1/1000 and iso 320 The picture is cropped a bit

Inspiration

Trying to catch wildlife behaviour Showing the playfulness off young grizzlies

Editing

Yes I had to lighten up the picture It was shot in raw

In my camera bag

For camera my D850 and D500 and usually 3 different lenses, 200-500mm, 70-200 mm and 24-120mm

Feedback

Be patient, be out in nature Have your camera ready and have a spare camera I like to have my D850 with the 200-500mm and my D500 with my 70-200
