Yet another frame from ongoing project - "Hollow" - a project which explores the world without human actors interacting with with the space itself and things contained in it, be it mundane everyday objects, tools, instruments, furniture, kitchen utensils and whatnot.
In this project I try to challenge nature of the beholder's perception, while shedding a little light on new worlds and surreal realities.
I'm being told images from this project are both creative and humorous, maybe even playful in terms of what else the viewer might see, besides what's obvious, and it might be true because each image has various concepts attached to it but I won't disclose them as it would ruin all the potential fun seeing for oneself how each image reflects in one's own vision.
This is an ongoing project, I'm open for all critique :-)
AAAND! I'd love to hear your interpretations for this image :)

The photo was taken in a studio ran by friends of mine in Warsaw.Time
This was a half day shoot of different ideas I got for this frame, so I took few sets and arrangements for the composite resulting image, and the one I chose was taken around the noon I think, can't say for sure since I don't have my usual drive at hand as I'm backing it up on another PC :-DLighting
This was a simple setup. I used 1 studio strobe with standard reflector, mounted on a tripod. The light itself was flagged from the front and directed backwards so it would bounce off from the ceiling and the wall on the right hand side creating pleasing soft light.Equipment
FujiFilm X-H1 + XF23mm f/1.4 Strobe was most likely Quadralite Pulse 600. Tripod was some heavy Benro one, don't remember the model ATM.Inspiration
I kindly invite you to read the description of the photo itself ;-)Editing
This photo is a composite of 5 frames blended in PS. I also did some 5-band frequency separation to produce the final look to my taste, color grading was also done in Photoshop. I also used lightroom (with sharpening disabled) for RAW processing of all 5 frames. In my camera bag
I either carry my well used and abused Ricoh GRII right there in my pocket but if I feel more adventurous or I have some intention in mind then I might carry on with FujiFilm X-H1+ Fujinon xf23mm f/1.4 + some other primes or a 24-70 equiv and obviously ND filters and a tripod, but it all depends on the topic/environment/subject. But other than that I roam the streets with Minolta CLE + M-Rokkor 40/2 and some Fuji pro400h, Provia, HP5+ or Tri-X.Feedback
Try to capture not what's in front of your eyes but rather what's behind them :-)
