Behind The Lens

Location

Botswana near Chiefs Camp on the Okavango Delta.

Time

Afternoon.

Lighting

The sun was beginning to set which created a golden glow.

Equipment

Nikon D850 with the Nikon 200-500mm lens.

Inspiration

The leopard was walking directly towards our vehicle which made the shot interesting.

Editing

I process my photos in Lightroom. This photo was sharpened and cropped.

In my camera bag

Nikon equipment exclusively: D850; D500; 200-500mm; 300mm; 24-70 f2.8; 24-120 f4.

Feedback

The best advice that I have learned is to stay calm and be patient in wildlife photography. Most importantly, have fun!
