Location
In July of 2018 we headed out from Arizona in our truck camper on a trip to Ohio (for a family reunion), then on to Canada and down the east coast. When crossing Kansas we stopped for the night at Webster Lake State Park.Time
The evening that we arrived, we walked around to see area and there were a few clouds but no sunset color. Because of the clouds I decided to make sure I was up and down at the lake by sunrise and it paid off. The colors and reflections were gorgeous as I worked around the lake edge.Lighting
The natural light of nature is amazing.Equipment
I shoot with an Olympus OM-D E-M1, a micro four-thirds mirrorless camera. The lens was the 12-40 mm shot at 30 mm- ISO 200, 1/320, f/5,0.Inspiration
Sunrise is wonderful. The colors and reflections were gorgeous as I worked around the lake edge.Editing
I only made very slight adjustments to the highlights and shadows in Lightroom. I did add a medium contrast curve. In my camera bag
The Olympus OM-D E-M1 is a lightweight mirrorless camera.Feedback
Since there were clouds the night before, there was a good chance that the morning sunrise would be colorful.
