Location
This was taken on Argyll Street, in Glasgow, ScotlandTime
As far as I can remember, it was mid morning, on quite a drearie day, whilst wandering the streets of Glasgow looking for indpirationLighting
Just the usual overcast Scots cloudy daylight, nothing special about the lighting on this occasion.Equipment
A Fuji X-pro1 with kit 18-55mm lens.... (I think), no flashInspiration
This is a portrait of a Big Issue seller in Glasgow, who had the most interesting face I came across all day. It was taken with his permission and yes.... I did buy a copy.Editing
It's obviously converted to B&W, as he is wearing a distracting Big Issue seller's bib, which was a dirty orange/red, with the pp work mostly in Lightroom, where I spend most of my life, but I did remove a distracting logo from his hat and some background detail in Photoshop and some contrast work using Topaz detail as I recall, courtesy of a Glyn Dewis tutorial from the University of YouTube.....Highly recommended. If you don't follow him, you probably should. In my camera bag
I now use Pentax, so equipment is optionalFeedback
Don't be afraid to ask someone if they mind being photographed and wear trainers so you can out run those that do mind.
