Behind The Lens

Location

I had just returned home from the jewelry store where I had bought our wedding rings. For years, I wore a big clunky thing on my finger. I decided to sell it back to the jeweler and upgraded my wife's diamond while I was at it. Looking down at my bare finger, I decided to call up my friends at Keep Sake Tattoo. They squared me away with my wife's initials on top of my ring finger and the saying going down the side.

Time

It was late at night when I returned home and surprised my wife with my new tattoo wedding ring. We shared a glass of wine together when I noticed how it had looked while holding the wine glass.

Lighting

When I looked down, everything looked perfect. So I snapped away.

Equipment

Believe it or not, I grabbed the closest camera I had near me. Which just happened to be my smart phone.

Inspiration

I was sharing my new art with my wife. I lived the way it appeared holding the wine class.

Editing

I really cannot recall if I had for this photo or not.

In my camera bag

I usually carry a D3400 Nikon with two kit lenses. Extra battery, extra memory card and a tripod.

Feedback

If you see something, shoot it. Anything and everything. You never know who will find it interesting. Plus, practice makes perfect.
