I shot this in my home where I used my dining room to set up a temporary studioTime
The time was around midday but as it was indoors it didn’t really have an effect other than the subject being wide awake and full of beansLighting
I used 2 godox de300 strobes with 80x100 softboxes and a fill light below using a constant light with an 80cm octobox diffuserEquipment
I shoot on a canon 1100D at the moment and for this shot I used my 50mm prime lensInspiration
My friend was visiting from over 200miles away with his partner and daughter I asked them if they would like a shoot while they were in town and hey presto this was the result And I must say I am very pleasedEditing
The post process was achieved using a combination of adobe lightroom to get the colour grade I desired and photoshop to make those beautiful blue eyes shine through the black and white I also cropped her parents out of the shotIn my camera bag
I normally carry my canon 1100D 50mm prime F4 70-300 mm 18-55 mm And 80-200 mm Plus a few graduated filters And a set of ND filters ??Feedback
My best advice would be to concentrate on the small details and that attention to detail will shine through in the finished product Also try not to blow the whites out It’s always easier to pull detail from a darker shot than a lighter one
