Location
I took this photo in Monument Valley, an amazing place for photography, located on the Arizona-Utah border, United States.Time
I took that photo at sunrise, I prefer sunrise because I have sun and colours very nice besides I had a little fog :).Lighting
I took that photo exactly when Sun was in front of butte.Equipment
I had a Nikon D610 with Nikon 14-24 and Manfrotto tripod. In that photo I didn't use any filters, only bracketing +2 0 -2 exposure.Inspiration
I wanted to do a pic with real desert and real desert light for this reason I took that photo at sunrise :)Editing
Yes I took a bracketing +2 0 and -2 exposure, I blended in Photoshop and after I edited my photo with luminosity masks. With luminosity masks I have too much control for lights and shadows :).In my camera bag
Now I have a new camera, Sony A7rIII with Sony 16-35 f4, Sony 24-105 f4 and 100-400, Tripod, polarizer filter and filter ND10 ND6 and ND3, too I have a little warm light torch, remote shutter and with my Smartphone (Iphone X) I have control for my camera and I can do self portrait .Feedback
Don't lose hope, Try try try You need always play with sun and its framing, you need make too much photos :) .
