Behind The Lens

Location

The Photo was taken in a small beach located in Sturla, a district of Genoa. I really love these little beaches surrounded by the typical fishermen's houses.

Time

I took the photo on a summer evening, spent with friends and my girlfriend, sipping beer and waiting for the evening

Lighting

this is the best perspective to frame the beauty and the particularity of the place, I waited for the "blue hour" to try to give a more magical and dark touch to the shot

Equipment

Nikon d5600 , sigma 10-20 mm , tripod manicotto

Inspiration

I often take pictures of this kind, because this landscape is typical in Liguria. this one in particular is the place where I moved for a year ... it's a nice place to think..

Editing

I combined two shots a raw, one for the sky and the other for the rest, I modified the colors selectively, then I used a preset created by me on lightroom

In my camera bag

My Nikon d5600 or d90. Sigma 10-20 or Nikon 18-105 Sometimes, arsenal the new camera assistant..and my tripod (manfrotto)

Feedback

you can find yourself in front of any landscape, but you can transform it into a scenario, immersing yourself and finding the right light, the perfect composition, the right harmony, which you will then go to look at in post production to try to bring out even more the peculiarities of the shot . and then always try to improve and learn, without ever stopping!
