Behind The Lens

Location

Funny enough, this picture (and entire photo shoot) was taken in the basement of the subjects home.

Time

It was a beautifup spring day; mid afternoon.

Lighting

The lighting was done with a spare floor lamp the subject had in her house

Equipment

This picture was taken with my Nikon D40 with a 50-200mm lens

Inspiration

This was my very first boudoir photo shoot. Luckily, the subject was a friend and willing to provide more than enough time and patience during the shoot. What inspired me to do this particular photo shoot is "body image". A lot of people are embarrassed and ashamed of their bodies when they shouldn't be!

Editing

Just a little bit of exposure editing. Nothing major.

In my camera bag

Well, my camera, of course. I am still, after all these years, very attached to my NikonD40. I also usually carry 2 extra lenses (different sizes), extra batteries, battery charger, and external flashes
