This photo was taken on a small boat while I was on the Okavango Delta in BotswanaTime
It was late afternoon when I captured this. The light was dying off but just managed to catch enough light in the momentLighting
The lighting was going down and I didn't have anything that I could do to change it... but I feel that there was enough natural light around to make the captureEquipment
This was using a Canon 70d with a Sigma 150-600mm C lens. It was mounted on a rotating gimble tripod on a boatInspiration
Crocodiles are not the most charismatic of animals in Botswana but the boat and the crocodile started to line up and the shot just appeared in front of me! Ended up being my favourite photo that I managed to captureEditing
Very limited but obviously neutralised the colour from the image and very light changes in lightroomIn my camera bag
For wildlife shooting I have fallen in love with the sigma 150-600mm C. For the price it is a very good lens and I have been very impressed with the results!!Feedback
There is always an element of luck. But going out with other professional photographers gives you advice and tips that you may have never even thought about!
