I guess I am stating the obvious, but I will say it anyway: This is a landscape masterpiece.

Location
This photo was taken in Liguria, a region of northern Italy on the border with France. The village is called TellaroTime
The photo was taken in the afternoon, a few hours before the sun set.Lighting
In this beautiful country the light that enters the sunset allows a unique illumination of the land of tellaro.Equipment
This was shot with Canon 6d, Canon 70-200 IS II F.2.8 - Tripod Manfrotto 055Xpro3Inspiration
It's a fairly long story. This small town is very famous in Italy and in the world because it is located right on the sea. When there are storms, the tellaro tower is hit by very high waves, even up to 6 meters. Seeing the forecast I saw that there would be a big storm and I did 800 km in the car just to take this pictureEditing
Yes, the photo was created by combining 2 photos with different exposures. The photo was processed using Photoshop. A level for the sky and a level for the first floor. Closing the aperture of the SLR a little I managed to lengthen the shutter speed and have the waves not really blocked but create a small movement effect. In my camera bag
Canon 6d - Canon 5d Mk3 - Tamron 15/30 F2.8 - Canon 70/200 IS II F2.8 and Samyang 14 mm. I have in my bag also Remote controller and Filters Nd1000 and GND64 softFeedback
The place is not easy to find because you do not have to go directly into the land of tellaro but go down on the rocks a few hundred meters before. The rocks are dangerous and above all exposed to the sea so in the event of heavy storms and difficult to get off. It is a suitable place only for shooting during sunset
