Location
Fernando de Noronha, Pernambuco estate in Brazil. It is one of most beautiful, maybe the one, places in Brazil. Is a protected natural park. It is a must go for every diver master in the world. The picture was taken in the afternoon, at Cacimba do Padre's beach. The beach is at front of the "Twin Brothers", a pair of volcanic rocks which are a turistic point of the island. Cacimba do Padre means, Priest's Canteen. The name was given from ancients inhabitants of the island, because of a little river source.Time
It was around 3:30PM. My wife and I were having a good time after a great scuba diving morning. Middle of November is known for the "Warm up Swell Season". At that time I recently got my new zoom lenses and I was blessed to take this shot. Of course I also had the "never give up spirit" of the surfer too, who fought bravely agains those big waves.Lighting
It might have, but I'm too ammateur to say anything about it.Equipment
At that time I had a simple Canon T3i, my first DSLR and a simple tripod. The only thing that was extremely sophisticated was the environment.Inspiration
I love to capture moments from my perspective.Editing
Yes I did a little adjustments in bright, contrast and colors. But since I still took pictures in jpg mode, I didn't have much to do. It was a good capture. In my camera bag
Nowadays a Canon 7D mark II with a 50 mm, 55-250 mm an a 10-22 mm. At the trip I used a lot a GoPro III, for scuba diving images. There's a movie for that trip, it 's in portuguese, but have great images. https://vimeo.com/114793047Feedback
For begginers, which I include myself? Yeah!... Good equipment is awesome, but, a great enthusiasm, dedication and restless effort are premisses.
