Location
This photo was taken when I was on a vacation with my mom. We had gone to Timmins Ontario and on the way back, she wanted to show me where they used to go dancing. I didn't think much of it until we arrived at this abandoned Canadian Air Force Station aka CFS Ramore. I'm pretty sure there was a gleam in my eyes when I started to realize where we were. I would have spent hours here if I had the chance and looking back I wish I would have just put mom in the car (with the window down of course) while I went to take pictures ha ha. As we were driving around, I spotted a few buildings I just couldn't pass by without taking a few shots. These shoes were sitting on a rock just outside a building with a sign that said "Section De Maintenance des vehiculds" or Vehicle Maintenance Section. Further research on the location I discovered; the base was built in 1953 then closed in 1974. In 1975, the station was sold to the Black River-Matheson township for $100,000 and was reopened as the Lava Mountain. Lodge, a resort and drinking establishment. I used a Nikon D810 with a 70-200mm LensInspiration
When I was in this building, I had a feeling of time standing still or even just stopped. There were things lying around as if someone had set them there and then forgot to take them. The shoes stood out and seemed like a good representation of the feel of the place.Editing

I carry my Nikon D810 with a Tamron 150 to 600mm lens. I favor this lens for shooting birds it's such a sharp picture. I also carry a Nikon D800 with a Nikon 70 to 200mm lens mounted this is one of my favorite lenses it never disappoints I like to use it to shoot flowers and other inanimate objects. I also carry a Nikon 14-24mm.Feedback
I still consider myself green as far as Photography; there is still so much to learn!
