Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Longwood Gardens at their lily ponds in the United States.

Time

The time of day was around 11 am on a beautiful sunny day in September.

Lighting

The lighting was natural light. The sky was sunny with no clouds.

Equipment

I used a Canon Rebel with the 18 to 135 lens to crop the picture

Inspiration

I am a horticulturist and just love taking pictures of flowers. We where at Longwood gardens and the lily pond had the most beautiful lilies with all different colours.

Editing

All I did was just adjust the contrast to darken up the background.

In my camera bag

I carry the Canon Rebel and also the Canon 70D a new camera I just got 6 months ago. Have the Tamron 70 - 200 F2.4 di Vc USD Sp, Tamron 90 F2.8 Macro, Canon 18 - 135 f3.5 - 5.6, Tamron 16 - 300 f3.5 - 6.3, Tripod,Timer, lens cleaner, pad of paper to write down info.,
