Wow, awesome shot. It's hard to get a great photo there with all the crowds during the day. I never thought about shooting at night. Really nice!

The photo was taken in Rome. That is the view of Roman Forum from the Capitoline Hill.Time
Had take this picture around 10pm during the night walk in Rome with one of my friends. Didn't have tripod with me used the wall we used to seat on it to admire this spectacular view instead.Lighting
Rome itself always fascinated me about it lightings during the night time. In this case it just gives kind of theatrical look or at least thats how I perceive it.Equipment
Photo was taken with the Nikon d3200 and the 18-200mm nikkor lens.Inspiration
I know this view very well and spend many nice moments in this site so when I got my first camera thought that a shoot of this venue had to be taken for sure. I love the light and the site itself which reveals thousands of years of history and the splendor of ancient architecture.Editing
I had to crop this picture to achieve better composition. There haven't been much more done to it, just some basic workflow on photoshop. In my camera bag
I generally carry a camera with one lens, (18-200mm which is my favorite one or 10-24mm mainly when I'm out of the city) filter and cloth, Occasionally a tripod.Feedback
I thought the night time will be the best for this venue but surely sunset and sunrise will be fantastic as well. I guess that some better settings then I used will give much better effects, I was just the beginner at that time.
