Tastefully done. Just goes to show others you don't have to be naked/nude to be sexy! Thank you!

Location
This photo was taken at one of my favorite spots in Massachusetts, Halibut Point State Park. We set out to shoot pin-up photos, but ended up with something way more interesting!Time
This shot was taken on Saturday July 6th, 2013 around 3:30pm.Lighting
This photograph was taken entirely with natural light, as are most of my photographs. The sun was bright, high in the sky, and diffused nicely by some scattered clouds.Equipment
For this shot, I used a Canon 6D body with a Canon EF 24-70mm F/2.8 lens. I was shooting handheld and did not use a flash.Inspiration
I was bored one day a couple of years ago, so I went to the House of Blues in Boston to see if they had any cheap tickets to that night's concert. Outside the venue, I asked an employee about the ticket situation, and after looking me up and down, he handed me a free ticket to the show with access to the private lounge. A soon as I stepped into the lounge, I noticed one of the most beautiful people that I had ever seen, standing behind the bar. I sat down and started a conversation with her, and soon mentioned that I was a photographer and would like to photograph her sometime, to which she replied "I'm a model, and that sounds great!" This image is from our first shoot together, where we quickly discovered how well we collaborate!Editing
I used Photoshop to convert the image to black and white and to do a minor amount of retouching. In my camera bag
For more in-depth shoots, I bring my Canon 6D, Canon 85mm 1.2, Canon 50mm 1.4, Tamron 24-70 2.8, and Rokinon 14mm 2.8, as well as my E-Prance DF-660 speedlight with Vello light modifier. I also always make sure to have lots of backup memory cards and batteries. For more intimate portrait shoots, though, the 85mm and 50mm are my favorites in my kit.Feedback
I believe that natural light produces the most beautiful photos, but can also be the most difficult to work with. It's important to be aware of lighting conditions for the time of day and year that you'll be shooting, and to be prepared to constantly change your approach due to uncontrollable elements like moving clouds. The sun is your friend, if you stay mindful of its benefits and downfalls. If you think on your toes, learn to love natural light, and find cool and beautiful locations and models, you'll be in good shape! I'd also recommend helping your models to feel at ease in any way possible, let them know the mood you're aiming for in the images, and be constantly ready to capture their natural expressions and beauty, which are almost always more beautiful than forced poses.
