Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Carrizo Plain National Monument, near Bakersfield, CA.

Time

Early afternoon. During midday, outside of the golden hours, shoot objects and macros.

Lighting

The lighting for this photo is natural, under a sun that was producing a large ice crystal halo.

Equipment

Camera: Sony a99V Lens: Sony 35mm f1.4G Tripod: Manfrotto 055CXPRO3, Head: Acratech V2, RRS B2 LR ll

Inspiration

It was there, the Light was right.

Editing

3 exposure of 1 frame, HDR in Photomatix Pro, Clean up in LightRoom

In my camera bag

Heavy things, seemingly. Prime Lenses, batteries, water bottle, Etc.
