Congratulations on being a contest finalist in Nature at Night Photo Contest. Always like viewing Perth skyline at night from South Perth. It is a beautiful photo.

I captured this from South PerthTime
Quite possibly my favourite photo to date. Earlier in the year Perth put on a show for about 4 days, I remember a couple of other photographers near me ran for cover just before I got this (bad luck guys) ;-) It was quite hairy as the storm was right on top of us & lighting was hitting from all directions so the addrenelin was raging. Shortly after this I went and sought cover under the Narrows Bridge only to be greeted by teams of other togs, from amature to pro storm chasers even the mandatory iPhone was out.Lighting
Night time shots are always trickyEquipment
this was taken with the Olympus EM-1 the 12-50 lens at 12 mm using Live composite ISO 200 and the trusty Sirui tripodInspiration
I've seen and taken the standard city sky line shots so was after something that no one has done beforeEditing
Edited in Light RoomIn my camera bag
Always the Olympus EM-1 filters cleaners etcFeedback
Persevere be patient and prepared to take shot after shot of nothing ;-)
