Behind The Lens

Location

I took this Photo in Alaska that Located 60 scenic miles from downtown Fairbanks, Chena Hot Springs Resort is an excellent place to view the aurora from January until September. The Resort's remote location also creates a perfect environment for viewing wildlife up close.

Time

I took this at the very early morning around 1am .below zero -35F with many Photographers with our complete gear (parka)This is my first ever i saw the aurora made my dreams come true.

Lighting

It was Full moon,the moon is too challenging.Its hard to balance you iSo .The light brought negative impact to the get northern lights photos.

Equipment

Tripod of course with my Canon 6D.with the highest of Iso 12500,F/4.no flash

Inspiration

I am very inspired with those professional photographer i will try my knowledge to show the world what i can give.Its been in my bucket list to Discover the ethereal beauty of Alaska.the natural display, impressive,goosebumps arts of natures from daytime to evening trip from Fairbanks made my life so complete .Its inspirational and appreciate the beauty of the art.

Editing

its just a raw...no editing of my photos since its my first time to take photos of the northern light ,i prefer to be natural.

In my camera bag

My always use my waterproof back pack because i like to hike trails here in Alaska.i usually carry my Canon 6d,lens 300mm to shot eagles .and micro for small insects i can meet down the trails.

When you take photos,plan ahead.take your time.Photography is not about shooting photos but also its about feelings.
