Location
This photo was taken in my backyard.Time
The picture was taken in the heat of the day during the summerLighting
The sun and shade created a peaceful lighting which captured the serenity of the sceneEquipment
This was an early picture taken with my Nikon COOLPIX P520, nothing elseInspiration
This is our oldest Pyrenees, now dead, who worked all night guarding the goats and cows. He was a roamer, and seeing him sleeping so peacefully captured how hard he worked all night.Editing
Tweaked the sharpness onlyIn my camera bag
While I still shoot with my P520, I have advanced to a Nikon D7200 (now my go to camera) and two lenses:?a wide angle and 300mm zoom.Feedback
If you are looking for "the perfect" animal or nature picture, take lots of pictures of the same shot. Capture anything you think looks interesting. The transfer from reality is not always what we see. Sometimes, the most uninteresting shot will yield an amazing photo. Take lots of pictures.
