Tears from the soul
By Darren Bailey LRPS
(Self Portrait)
This piece will be exhibited at the 11th international Parallax art fair from the 24th to the 25th of October at Chelsea old town hall on the Kings road London .
Tears turn to blood as the soul bleeds with pain and passion its only escape through the windows to that very place.
If you could see inside my mind this would happen to you ……
Art created using a Nikon D90 and a Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro
Also used
2 x Manfrotto LED light panels
1 x me
some replica blood
some emotion
and a little bit of effect adding using different photo software.
How This Piece Was Created
This piece was created in my portable studio utilising a couple of LED lights and a macro lens I set myself up in front of the camera and placed a tube of fake blood to the corner of my eye and squeezed, this created the tears of blood.
Some real tears can also just be seen if you look hard enough as when I created this image I was feeling very sad and thinking of days gone that I dearly miss, days of happiness , days of joy ...
