This reminds me of some of the beautiful views while driving in Vermont!

Location
The photo was taken standing by the road. I was actually going in the opposite direction and I noticed the view in the rearview mirror from my car ...Time
It was almost noon, and I was late for the meeting ... when I noticed the view behind me, I just couldn't help my self not to take a photo. Of course I was late after that, but I just call and said that I have some "troubles" on the road ...Lighting
I took more time that I could spare, to get the clouds in the movement with several expositions, which I merge after in PS, all the other was just natural light (the sun was on my back) and after several hours when I was going home ... well, I can just say it was worth stopping before ...Equipment
This was shot with NikonD600 on tripod, with an 50 mm lens, f/11, 1/80 sec, ISO-100, Aperture priority ... and CPL filterInspiration
This is easy ... it was all about the moment, that I couldn't let go pass away ...Editing
I don't usually do a lot of post-processing, just some basic adjustments, and I also took most of my photos in jpeg format. I strive to the point, to make an image on the field ... so in this case I did a minimum crop, some basic color adjustments of the tone and a bit of contrast (not much, the CPL filter did a great job) ... and I merge several layers of the sky which I blurred after in motion ... I like my images to have more colors (I also most of my photos take in "vivid" settings, as I did this one) ...In my camera bag
Almost every time I have all my lenses with me in my bag ... you just don't know what you'll find on your way, and sometimes you get nice surprise like this one in front of the lens ... usually when you are least expected it ... so I have in my bag: Nikon D600 and Nikon D5100 (for backup), 16-28 mm (f/2.8), 50 mm (f/1.8), macro 105 mm (f/2.8) and 70-300 mm (f/4.5-5.6) ... and of course tripod and remote control ... so, I don't mind the extra weight to carry around, even if most of the time I use 16-28 mm and macro lens ...Feedback
Simple advice ... when you see something, don't let it pass away not to grab a chance for a shot. Time is passing and beauty is all around us. Just stop, take a shot and go on ... it's easy.
