Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Animal Kingdom in York Maine.

Time

It was taken about 2:00 pm.

Lighting

Nothing special about the lighting. Their area in in the full sun, but the sun was not as harsh given the time of day.

Equipment

I was shooting with my Canon T3, and my Canon 55-250 lens. No tripod, no flash.

Inspiration

These little guys were just adorable! Their family unit was so tight knit and sweet. This particular pair spent a lot of time together, and kept reverting to this loving pose. I had to capture it forever!

Editing

Very little post processing. I deepened the contrast and changed to color to black and white.

In my camera bag

Normally I have my Canon T3, my stock 18-55, my 55-250, and my nifty 50.

Feedback

My only advice it to be patient. I love nature photography and sometimes I will go back to same spot for months just to get the photo that I want. Good things will come to those that are willing to wait for them!
