For sure.... it was an extremely hot day ...and these old retired drovers were under a wooden canopy, which serves as a bush kitchen .... and the sun was bouncing of old pots and pans that were hanging on side walls. I knew that I maybe stood a chance to get the highlights...Equipment
I was using my Canon 5D with my 400mm lens.Inspiration
When I was invited to join a bunch of these old retired drovers for a special occasion, and when I was with all of them waiting to board the bus that was to bring us out to the Outback, I was looking at the faces of these old guys...and couldn't help but notice what great features they all had .... leathered skin and they all had a special look in their eyes ...so right there and then I knew I would be doing a lot of candid shooting that day.Editing
Just a little tweaking on Lightroom .... brought up the highlights a bit...and cropped it ...that's itIn my camera bag
Canon 5D .... Canon 50D as a back up, 400mm and 24/105 lensFeedback
Take candid shots as much as you can ...you never know what will turn up ....
