Location
We live in Taos, New Mexico and have a couple of acres of land. In front of our property is a field that is to be used for agriculture means. We do not farm so we let a local horse vet use the field for horses rehabilitating after injuries. We had all the benefits of having horses around without the costs of keeping horses. This beautiful Appaloosa stayed with us one winter.Time
This was taken early on a snowy January morning.Lighting
Wonderfully flat light from a cloudy snowy day.Equipment
Canon 20D. Aperture: f/10.0, ISO: 400, Shutter Speed: 1/400Inspiration
How could I not? The stark white of the snow and the dappled coat of the horse made for a great composition.Editing
The photo was a little underexposed because of the white subject matter. I increases the exposure by 2 stops in Photoshop. In my camera bag
These days it is a Canon 5D and a Canon 50D with lenses that covering a range from 11mm to 500mm. A SONY DSC-RX100M4 as a pocket camera and my iphone SE.Feedback
